One of the most famous tourist destinations

Discover Girona medieval with a nice walk, to know his story and see some of its towering monuments, including the Cathedral, the walls or the jewish quarter which is the best preserved of Catalonia, in addition to enjoy the views over the river Onyar with its colorful houses.

Girona is located in the north of Catalonia, and due to its strategic location, close to the French border and at the confluence of 4 rivers, has a history of more than 2000 years. Its development came from the roman era, and had its peak in the middle ages, with the construction of numerous monumental buildings that we have reached our days.

During our tour we will explore the most emblematic places of the city enjoying their callesjuelas, romantic corners and the dark light of the historic center, which seems to have stopped in time.

We can admire the church of Sant Feliu, the oldest of Girona, the old romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants, the arab baths, the medieval wall and the striking image of the Cathedral of Girona, well-known for having the widest gothic nave in the world. Also during our walk, we walk the path of the jewish quarter of Girona, The Call, know the history of the jews in Catalonia and observe its good conservation.

To finish, we will cross the Onyar river to contemplate the Girona built from the NINETEENTH century and the life of the city today.
